By creating an account or using SolvAId ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of a school or organization, you represent that you have the authority to accept these terms on its behalf.
SolvAId is an AI-powered study assistant. For students, it offers tools such as explanations, document digitization, quizzes, study guides, flashcards, writing assistance, and image generation and editing, powered by xAI's Grok models. For teachers (Premium), it offers productivity tools such as rubric-based grading assistance, lesson plans, worksheets with answer keys, and parent-email drafting, plus class management features. The Service is currently in an beta stage and is under active development.
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you may only use the Service with the permission of a parent or guardian. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. One account per person; sharing accounts is not permitted.
Teachers may create classes and upload student rosters (such as a CSV of student email addresses), which creates a SolvAId account for any listed student who does not already have one. By uploading a roster, the teacher represents that they have the authority to do so and any required consents from the school or parents/guardians. Students added this way are subject to these same Terms.
You agree not to misuse the Service. This includes: violating any law; attempting to disrupt or abuse the Service, its infrastructure, or other users; uploading harmful or unlawful content; or attempting to extract other users' data.
SolvAId is a study aid, not a shortcut. You are responsible for following your school's academic-integrity policies. Do not submit AI-generated work as your own where your school or instructor prohibits it, and do not use the Service during proctored exams or assessments unless explicitly allowed. We may suspend accounts used to facilitate academic dishonesty at scale (for example, running a cheating service).
Free plan: $0, with daily and monthly usage limits as shown on our pricing page. Premium: $6.99 per month or $69.99 per year, with higher limits and teacher tools.
New Premium subscriptions begin with a 3-day free trial. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription automatically renews at the then-current price and your payment method is charged. You can cancel anytime from the billing portal inside the app (Account → Billing). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you keep Premium access until then, and you will not be charged again. Prices may change; we will notify you in advance and any change applies from your next renewal.
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. You are responsible for any taxes applicable in your jurisdiction.
Because you can cancel anytime and keep access until the end of your billing period, we generally do not offer refunds for partial periods. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us at solvassist@gmail.com and we will review it case by case. Nothing in this section limits refund rights granted by applicable consumer-protection law.
Responses, quizzes, study materials, grades, feedback, and images produced by the Service are generated by AI and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated. Always verify important information against reliable sources. AI output is for educational purposes only and is not professional advice (medical, legal, financial, or otherwise). You are responsible for how you use generated content.
The Service, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by us and protected by intellectual-property laws. You receive a limited, non-transferable license to use the Service under these Terms. You retain ownership of content you upload; by uploading it, you grant us the license needed to operate the Service (to process, store, and display your content back to you). AI-generated output created for you may be used by you for your own study and teaching purposes.
You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at solvassist@gmail.com. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or abuse the Service, with or without notice for serious violations. Sections 6 through 12 survive termination.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," especially during its beta stage. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free operation or any particular outcome from using the Service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or $10 if you paid nothing).
We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. Material changes will be announced in the app or by email, and the latest version will always be available on this page. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
